Ad Operations Manager

Digg is looking for an experienced Ad Operations Manager to oversee our...well, ad operations. We run a full stack consisting of everything from direct native to programmatic pre-roll with everything in between. We need someone to jump in and help us scale it all in a detail-oriented and comprehensive way. You’ll be joining our small but mighty business team in an effort to grow Digg’s top-line revenue with a user-first mentality.

Responsibilities

Directly manage all of Digg’s programmatic and direct ad operations along with all day-to-day trafficking
Technical ad ops liaison between revenue, leadership and tech teams
Point of contact and lead for all ad tech vendors and partners (prebid, DSPs, etc.)
Expand and cement ad ops structures, documentations and practices
Contribute to and ensure successful execution of ad product and tech

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in ad operations, digital media preferred
Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JS
High level of proficiency with DFP, video ad solutions, and other ad core tech
Proactive, responsive and detail-oriented
Effectively communicate across multiple channels and projects
Sharp problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Pun-appreciation, preferred

Backend Engineer

What We’re Looking For:

We're looking for an engineer with experience building large-scale/large-data web applications. We'd like you to build the internal and external APIs that will power new features for Digg.

This job is a full-time position out of our New York offices.

Requirements:

2+ years experience developing web-based applications/sites using Python
Experience with building REST/JSON APIs
Familiarity with one or more of the following: redis, memcache, nginx, tornado, hadoop, mongo, mysql, elastic search
BS/MS in Computer Science preferred

Product Manager

Digg is looking for an experienced Product Manager to oversee all day-to-day product development, spearheading process and workflow across our growing team of designers and developers. This is an excellent opportunity for creative, detail oriented minds: a role that is equal parts management of projects and resources as it is spearheading the strategy and execution of Digg products. We’re looking for self-starters who are proactive and intensely organized to join a fun, creative environment.

This job is a full-time position out of our New York offices.

Responsibilities

Define processes and platforms for effective project management for each project
Define, manage and execute project plans for multiple simultaneous work streams
Oversee day-to-day allocation of designers and developers, ensuring all team members stay on task and on schedule
Liaise with key stakeholders across Digg to wrangle requirements, documentation, and approvals
Oversee QA and rollout of all projects
Contribute to and ensure successful execution of product strategy and vision
Coach stakeholders and product team to improve process, interactions and efficiency

Requirements

4+ years technical project management experience, preferably at a digital agency or startup
Experience in scoping, documenting and testing products across all digital platforms
Experience with a range of project management software and tools (Trello, Asana, JIRA, etc)
Fluency with design and development processes and deliverables (wireframes, design phases, sprint planning, etc)
Experience and familiarity with AGILE environments a plus
Collaborative, upbeat, solutions-oriented attitude
